Dancer, choreographer, teacher. MA from Maria Sklodowska-Curie University in Lublin (1994). In 1992-1993 Kalinowski studied and acted in the pantomime theatre of Halina Studniarz (Lublin), and since 1996 has participated in theater workshops in Poland and dance workshops in Poland and abroad (releasing, contact improvisation, body conditioning, BMC, Polish technique of contemporary dance, improvisation) From 1993 to 2001 he was a dancer in the Contemporary Dance Group of Lublin University of Technology, and since 2001 he has been a dancer and choreographer for the Lublin Dance Theatre. Choreographies he has authored or co-authored include: In Between, Voices, Probability, Towards the Good Silence, and Bellissimo. Since 2001 he has co-organized the International Dance Theatre Festival in Lublin and the Open Dance and Conditioning Workshops in Lublin. He is a two-time recipient of the City of Lublin Award for cultural activity and artistic achievements (2001 and 2003).
