Anthony Cerrato, co-founder and award-winning director of The Farm Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Richard Foreman's Stage Manager and Assistant Director for the past three years, presents the New York City premiere of his first full-length piece, UNDER THE SIGN OF THE HOURGLASS, an adaptation of the short stories of Bruno Schulz that he has produced and directed in association with the Ontological-Hysteric Theater and chashama. Inspired by one of modern Europe's most original and bizarre imaginations, UNDER THE SIGN OF THE HOURGLASS is a “fantastical exploration of a unique and curiously strange family, a dreamlike montage of a young boy's memories and experiences, and his jumbled, confused, yet wondrous realizations of how he became who he is.”
