Eva
Nagorski,
Writer/Producer
Eva is a produced television writer: she wrote episodes for NBC’s Las
Vegas, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and was a staff writer on
Deadline. She produced/directed/wrote/narrated the documentary on the
Polish Daily News, Nowy Dziennik: The First 30 Years and wrote/produced
the short film, Snapshot. Eva also writes screenplays, and co-wrote,
No-Smoking Section, with playwright Janusz Glowacki. She translated
Glowacki’s scripts Antigone in New York, Three Pretty Sisters, The Nose
(co-writer, Emir Kusturica), The Theatre of K, Billboard and his
theatrical play, The Fourth Sister. Since graduating from Bowdoin College,
Eva has freelanced for various American and Polish publications, was
senior editor of Notorious magazine, and was also the editor/features
writer of musician Nile Rodgers’ We Are Family Foundation website. She
worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Reader’s Digest U.S. Video &
TV, and Golden Books, which published two of her children’s books. In
Poland, she was an assistant to Academy Award winning director Andrzej
Wajda and she was co-director of the nationwide screenplay competition,
