The annual multi-disciplinary conference on Polish and Polish-American studies consists of 21 sessions this year, with more than 100 scholars and scientists from various regions of the United States as well as Poland, Belgium, the UK, and Germany participating. The sessions will be in such varied disciplines as politics, literature, theatre, cinema, economics, history, music, education, theology, environmental studies, and inter-ethnic relations.
On June 15 at 4:00 pm the Polish Cultural Institute will present a panel, Reshaping The Landscape: Polish Contemporary Theatre, introducing the theatrical work of Przemyslaw Wojcieszek, one of the leading voices of the younger generation in Polish theater. The panel will also present the emerging directors and playwrights who have been reshaping the Polish theater scene in recent years. The discussion with Wojcieszek will be moderated by Prof. Krystyna Illakowicz of New York University.

The conference is not restricted to members only, but to all those who are interested in the intellectual and cultural heritage of Poland.
