Andrzej Wajda's classic 1956 film, "Kanal", is being shown in CUNY-TV's City Cinematheque series to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the start of the Warsaw Uprising, with host Jerry Carlson, professor of cinema studies at the City College of New York/CUNY, in a post-film discussion with Andrzej Tymowski, from the American Council of Learned Societies.
